Mastech: Dongguan Office. MASTECH is a major global supplier of precision electronic measuring instruments. The design concept treats material as the entry point — hard, industrial steel structures, glass, and marble build a precise, professional corporate image. The project splits into a reception lobby and an office zone. In the reception lobby, the ground floor and mezzanine hold several open discussion areas and meeting spaces, staggered across the two levels. Glass partitions and daylight from outside keep meetings transparent while preserving privacy. A bar area for making lunch and a sofa area for casual conversation add further spaces for exchange — everyone can choose how they meet and talk. In the office zone, to fit a large number of workstations, the office sits at the core of the plan, ringed by an artificial-turf track that links the meeting spaces, exhibition room, gym, rest area, and boxing training area — a relaxed, energetic open-office layout. Meetings at the company run frequent and dense, spanning different levels — with clients, departments, teams, and individuals. This project breaks the meeting spaces apart to match different meeting tones, letting discussion happen across spaces with different atmospheres, so clients and staff talk and exchange naturally while walking or training. The project sets out to combine leisure, exercise, and work, turning a serious office into a light, active place.
