

Borrowed scenery is one of the commonly used landscaping techniques in traditional Chinese gardens, organizing the scenery within the visible range into the space.

In this project, a near borrowing technique is employed to frame outdoor tree shadows into the indoor space. Additionally, a neighboring borrowing technique is used, employing glass materials not commonly found in ancient times to reflect the landscape within a circular view.

The overall atmosphere presents natural variations of light and shadow, with a base of common gray tones resembling rocks, complemented by wood colors to pursue an inherent urban naturalness.
